The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will convene in Istanbul, Turkey on January 7 and 8 on "religious intolerance".
Officials said that the Istanbul meeting would be attended by legal and human rights experts.
OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu will deliver the opening remarks of the Istanbul meeting in which legal means to fight against religious intolerance would be discussed in depth.
A report to be prepared after the Istanbul meeting will be submitted to leaders at the OIC Summit to take place in Egypt between February 2 and 7.
