Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his Greek counterpart Dimitris Avramopoulos met Sunday in Istanbul ahead of a meeting of the Turkey-Greece High Level Cooperation Council.

Turkish diplomatic sources said the two minister discussed preparations for the council meeting and several agreements to be signed on the sidelines of the one-day event.

Nearly 20 agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries during the cooperation meeting.
