Speaking to Anadolu Agency, the district governor of Suleiman Beg Talib Mohammed Beyati said the "Iraqi army forces mounted a wide-scale operation against Al Qaeda militants in Suleiman Beg district of Iraq's Salahaddin city and its villages. During the operation, 6 Al Qaeda militants along with 1 Iraqi soldier died while 37 others were captured."
Several weapons and 3 bomb-laden motorcycles were also seized during the operation.
