A visit of the Iranian military intelligence service to the northern Iraqi Qandil Mountains was exposed after an accident.
According to the Turkish daily Yenisafak, the Iranian military intelligence service had an accident as they were returning to Iran from the Qandil Mountains. Two soldiers inside the vehicle died in the accident.
Iranian authorities did not give any statement about the accident.
Iran carried out six secret visits to the Qandil Mountains according to the claims.
The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) have many camps in the Qandil mountains, located in the north of Iraqi Kurdistan.
