Two village guards were killed and a soldier was wounded Friday in a clash with PKK militants in Turkey's eastern province of Van, security officials told the Anadolu Agency.
The wounded soldier was rushed to a military hospital in Van after the clash which erupted during a military patrol in Bahcesaray town.
Sources said a military operation was underway in the area.
