Turkey's unemployment rate 9 percent in April
TurkStat said that the number of jobless decreased to 2.4 million from 2.6 million in Turkey.

Unemployment rate in Turkey in April 2012 dropped 0.9 point over the same month a year earlier to 9 percent, the country's statistics authority said Monday.
Urban unemployment dropped 1.2 points to 10.7 percent, and rural unemployment dropped 0.5 point to 5.6 percent in the given period, TurkStat said.
The number of jobless decreased to 2.4 million from 2.6 million.
