TIKA restoring Ottoman consulate building in Ethiopia
TIKA is restoring the consulate building which Ottoman state had opened in 1912 in Harar city.

Turkey's international development agency, TIKA, is restoring the consulate building which belonged to Ottoman Empire in Harar city of Ethiopia.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, during his visit to Ethiopia, examined the consulate building which is being restored by TIKA.

Ottoman state had opened the consulate building in 1912 in Harar city, however, the building was about to collapse due to disrepair.

During his visit, Bozdag gave directives to TIKA to speed up the restoration activities.
