Istanbul's first mosque "Arap Mosque" will be reopened to prayers on Sunday.

The "Arap Mosque" was built by Islamic forces who had come to Istanbul to surround the city in the year 717.

The mosque went through restoration since May 2011.  The mosque will be reopened on Sunday with the tarawih prayer.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc will attend the reopening of the mosque on Sunday.
