The İstanbul Transportation Authority (İETT) will begin offering half-off discounts on fares for sea buses and ferries starting on Monday.
Due to ongoing repairs of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet (FSM) Bridge and Galata Bridge, linking Eminönü to Karaköy, (İETT) is offering half-off discounts on public transportation by sea for the next two months. Commuters who regularly used sea buses and ferries have voiced their satisfaction with the new policy.
In recent weeks İstanbulites have faced several difficulties caused by traffic jams resulting from ongoing maintenance work on the FSM Bridge and Galata Bridge.
