Security services in the Gaza Strip released Hisham al-Saidani, a founder of the al-Tawhid al-Jihad group, after detaining him for several weeks, sources said Thursday, reported on Ma'an News Agency.
The man, known as Abu Walid al-Maqdisi, was detained in March.
Al-Saidani is on of the founders of the al-Tawhid al-Jihad group, which is accused of attacking tourist areas in Egypt including one that killed over a dozen people at hotels in the Sinai.
