Turkish daily newspapers on Thursday covered Turkey's unemployment rate and Al-Assad regime's attack on the Syrian town of Azaz. The Anadolu Agency does not verify these stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.
All Turkish dailies covered the latest developments following the attack by Al-Assad's forces on Azaz town of Syria on Wednesday. Turkish dailies published the pictures of post-attack and wounded Syrian people. According to daily ZAMAN more than 30 people were killed in Azaz attack. Some of the wounded Syrians were brought to Turkey however 13 of them lost their lives at the Turkish hospitals. Daily SABAH also noted that Turkish President Abdullah Gul's proposal for the suspension of Syrian membership to Organization Islamic Cooperation had been accepted.
Another topic which was covered by Turkish dailies was the Turkish jobless rate. The national unemployment rate which has been at its lowest since 2001, dropped to 8.2 percent according to daily SABAH by headlining "Least unemployed in Turkey".
