Turkish President Abdullah Gul will remain at a university hospital in capital Ankara for treatment of an ear condition, the university's rector said in a written statement on Friday.
Prof. Murat Tuncer, rector of the Hacettepe University, said Gul was diagnosed with a problem in both inner ears, adding the condition began to improve.
Gul cut short his visit in Kyrgyzstan due to the recurring problem and returned to Turkey on Thursday.
