Turkey consumer, producer prices up in August
Annual inflation in consumer prices was 8.88 percent, and it was 4.56 percent in producer prices, said TurkStat.

Consumer prices index (CPI) and producer prices index (PPI) were up in August 2012 compared to July 2012.

Turkey's statistics authority, TurkStat, said on Monday that CPI increased 0.56 percent and PPI was up by 0.26 percent (2003=100) in August.

Annual inflation in consumer prices was 8.88 percent, and it was 4.56 percent in producer prices, said TurkStat.

On 12-month basis, annual inflation was 9.29 percent in CPI, and 9.33 percent in PPI, it added.
