Turkish Minister of Economy Zafer Caglayan on Saturday said that Turkey's exports surpassed 100 billion USD as of September 7.
In a written statement released Saturday, Caglayan stressed that Turkey would be able to reach its goal of exports worth 148.5 billion USD by the end of 2012.
"Our success in increasing amounts of exports lies in diversifying our markets. The losses we have incurred in Europe since 2009 were compensated through markets in other corners of the world," Caglayan also said.
