2,400 people in total will travel to the holy lands as the first group of pilgrims.

First group of Turkish hajj pilgrims will travel to the holy lands on September 17.
According to information received by Anadolu Agency correspondent from the Directorate of Religious Affairs Press Office on Thursday, the first group of Turkish hajj pilgrims would travel to Saudi Arabia from Istanbul, Ankara, Denizli and Hatay provinces of Turkey.
2,400 people in total will travel to the holy lands as the first group of pilgrims.
The last group will go to the region on September 25.
After becoming hadji, groups will begin returning to Turkey as of October 30,2012.
