Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek is set to participate in a summit meeting of parliament heads of member countries in the Council of Europe.
The two-day event, the Parliament Speakers Europe Conference, will begin on Thursday in Strasbourg, and it is set to discuss the future of representative democracy and Arab revolutions.
Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland will make the opening remarks of the conference where the Turkish parliament speaker is expected to address the participants during the session on Arab revolutions.
