Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday congratulated Bidzina Ivanishvili after his coalition "Georgian Dream" won the general elections in Georgia on October 1.
Turkish Prime Ministry sources said that Erdogan held separate phone conversations with Ivanishvili and Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on Wednesday.
Erdogan and the Georgian leaders agreed to promote Turkish-Georgian relations.
