20th Meeting of the Council of Ministers (COM) of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) began on Monday in Azerbaijan.
Led by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, the meeting in Baku hosts foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and finance minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
At the beginning of the meeting, on the occasion of handing over the term presidency of ECO to Azerbaijan,
Davutoglu invited the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Memmedyarov to the presidency desk.
20th Meeting of the COM of the ECO continued closed to press, under the presidency of Memmedyarov.
In a closing statement that urgent and long-term action responding to needs of those hosting must be undertaken
