Israeli forces rounded up nine Palestinians in overnight raids carried out across the occupied West Bank, the army said Thursday.
In a statement, the army said the individuals had been detained for “suspected involvement in popular terrorist activities”.
It did not provide any further details.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 6,400 Palestinians are currently languishing in Israeli prisons, including dozens of women and scores of children.
The army frequently carries out sweeping arrest campaigns across the Palestinian West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" individuals.
