The First Damanhour University International Book Fair opened doors in Egypt.
Turkish Consul General in Alexandria, Mehmet Akif Ozdemir, inaugurated the Damanhour University International Book Fair.
Turkey is being represented by the "Turkish-Egyptian Friendship, Culture and Commercial Investment Union" at the fair.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Consul General Ozdemir stressed that Turkish-Egyptian relations got stronger following the January 25 revolution.
The book fair will remain open until March 19.
