Turkish top brass go to scene of military-PKK clash
Turkish top brass have reportedly left Ankara for Hakkari after hearing eight soldiers were killed in clashes with the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Özel, Land Forces Commander Gen. Hayri Kıvrıkoğlu and Gendarmerie Forces Commander Gen. Bekir Kalyoncu have reportedly left Ankara for Hakkari after hearing eight soldiers were killed in clashes with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
