Turkish Health Minister Recep Akdag, who is currently in Iran, said that regional countries have been developing despite global economic crisis.
"It is an important indication of a great activity on Silk Road," Akdag said at "the 3rd International Silk Road Businessmen Meeting" in Tabriz.
He recalled that Turkish airlines company Anadolujet launched flights between eastern province of Erzurum and Tabriz.
Akdag said that he attached a great importance to Tabriz.
