European court fines Greece for violating property rights of Turks
Greece will pay nearly 37,000 euro for eight plaintiff out of 14 applicants.

European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has fined Greece for violating property rights of fourteen ethnic Turks living in northeastern Greece.
In its ruling in Greece vs. Hulusi Zaim Buyan and et al. investigation, the European court charged Greece for nationalizing properties of fourteen ethnic Turks with with cheap price in Rodop and delaying the payment of compensation.
The ECtHR ruled that Greece violated sixth article of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) on fair trial and the first article of the first additional protocol related to the protection of property.
Greece will pay nearly 37,000 euro for eight plaintiff out of 14 applicants.
