Turkey to privatize Baskent Natural Gas Distribution's 20 percent of shares
Ankara's Baskent Natural Gas Distribution Corp. decided its 20 percent of shares to be added into the program of privatization.

High Board of Privatization (OYK) included the Baskent Natural Gas Distribution Corp.'s 20 percent of shares in its portfolio which was not in the extent and program of the privatization.

OYK's decision was published in the Turkish Official Gazette on Tuesday.

According to the notice, Ankara's Baskent Natural Gas Distribution Corp. decided its 20 percent of shares to be added into the program of privatization.

20 percent of the shares will be privatized with previously privatized 80 percent of shares by the "block sales" procedure.

Process period of the company's privatization will take two years and internal and external transactions will be managed by an administration source at the Privatization Administration Board (OIB).
