Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow came together on Friday with the officials of a Turkish textiles firm in Izmir, Cotam Enterprises Ltd, which has investments in Turkmenistan.
Berdimuhamedow headed to the Crown Plaza Hotel after visiting Izmir Port with Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan.
He received Honorary President of Cotam Enterprises, Muammer Agim, and Chairman of the Board, Seda Gengoru, at the hotel.
After lunch, the president of Turkmenistan held talks with Turkish firm's directors who have invested in Turkmenistan.
His visit to Izmir port was closed to press. According to information received, the president was impressed with the harbour of Izmir and they decided that a board of experts would go to Turkmenistan for the projects for renovation and construction of new harbours in Turkmenistan.
