Investments in aviation sector reach 7.6 bln TL in last decade
Transportation, Maritime and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim said that more than 150,000 people were employed thanks to investments in the civil aviation sector.

Investments in the Turkish civil aviation sector have reached 7.6 billion Turkish liras (TL) in the last decade, Turkish transportation minister said on Sunday.
Speaking to AA correspondent, Transportation, Maritime and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim said that more than 150,000 people were employed thanks to investments in the civil aviation sector.
When foreign airlines shrunk during global crisis, Turkish civil aviation sector continued growing, he said.
The sector's turnover rose to 15.3 billion USD from 2.2 billion USD in the last decade, he added.
