Gulsum Tatar of Turkey has won gold medal in the 5th World Women's Boxing Championships in Ningbo city of the People's Republic of China.

Competing in the 63 kg category, Tatar defeated her Russian opponent Liubov Lopatina 11-0 and became world champion.

A total of 208 boxers from 41 countries participated in the championships.
