A Turkish court sentenced Thursday a Ukrainian computer hacker to 30 years in prison on charges of cybercrime.

Maksym Yastremskiy was arrested in the Mediterranean province of Antalya 17 months ago. He was accused of "unauthorized access to computer systems of 12 Turkish banks and fraud committed against these banks".

The court also fined Yastremskiy 36,000 TL (nearly 23,200 USD).
