Anatolian culture and cuisine will be promoted in the United States within the scope of a festival.

Cultural affluence of Anatolia of Turkey will be exhibited at a festival which will take place in Los Angeles, the United States between April 2 and 5. Istanbul, southern province of Antalya, central province of Konya, eastern province of Van and southeastern province of Mardin will be promoted in the festival.

Van acting governor Omer Ozcan said that they would go to the USA with a 17-member delegation and they aimed to increase the number of tourists visiting Van with this promotion.

Ozcan added that they would also take two Turkish Van cats with them to Los Angeles. Turkish Van is a breed of cat native to the rugged mountains of the Lake Van region.
