Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will travel to Turkey to take part in a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference, or OIC, next week, Iranian officials said on Sunday.

Ahmadinejad will attend the 25th session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of OIC (COMCEC) to be held in Istanbul from November 5 to 9. He will take part in programs in the last two days of the meeting, officials said.

He will deliver a speech on development of relations among OIC member countries and the global economic crisis.

At his trip to Istanbul, Ahmadinejad will meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, as well as leaders of other OIC member countries.

He will also attend the COMCEC Economic Summit to be held on the last day of the session. The summit will host the heads of state of the OIC Executive Committee member countries (Egypt, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uganda) as well as heads of state of some other OIC member countries.
