Turkey's Chief Negotiator for European Union talks Egemen Bagis attended Friday a meeting of Turkish entrepreneurs in Germany.
"The more Turkish entrepreneurs we have in Europe, the more they create jobs in Europe, the easier our European Union process will be," Bagis told the 1st Congress of Europe Young Entrepreneurs in Berlin.
Bagis said Turkish entrepreneurs living in Europe would have a major role in making Turkey not only a national economic power but also an international economic player.
The Turkish negotiator said Turkish entrepreneurs in Germany made a 40 billion euro contribution to the country's economy, employing over 350 thousand people. Bagis said over 1 million Europeans would be employed by 2015 in businesses owned by Turks.
"This probably will be our biggest strength," Bagis said.
