Belorussian and Turkish lawmakers met at the Turkish parliament in Ankara on Tuesday.

Members of the Belorussian-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group paid a visit to the Turkish parliament, and have a meeting with Reha Camuroglu, the co-chairman of the group.

During the meeting, Camuroglu said there was no political problems between Turkey and Belarus, and defined Belarus' improving relations with the European Union (EU), Council of Europe and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) as positive.

Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin is expected to receive the Belorussian lawmakers, headed by Gennady Novitsky.

The Belorussian delegation will also have a meeting with Murat Mercan, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Parliament.
