Turkish President Abdullah Gul separately received the executives of two Indian companies in New Delhi on Monday.

He received P.R.S. Oberoi, CEO of Oberoi Group, as well as G.M. Rao, founder chairman of GMR Group.

Both meetings were closed to press.

Oberoi Group owns or operates hotels and cruise liners in five countries, and it is also engaged in flight catering, managing airport restaurants, travel and tour services, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters.

GMR Group is one of the growing infrastructure organizations in India with interests in airports, energy, highways and urban infrastructure.

Gul is paying a formal visit to India. He was decorated with honorary doctorate by Amity University, and then met with Indian opinion leaders over a working meal.
