Mouknass says expects Turkish businessmen in Mauritania

Mauritanian Foreign Minister Naha Mint Mouknass expressed pleasure about cooperating with Turkey and said that they would exert efforts to make cooperation in every area.

Holding a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara on Monday, Mouknass offered condolences over the earthquake which hit the eastern province of Elazig early today and killed 51 people.

Mouknass said that her country was ready to extend every type of support.

Mouknass said that Turkey and Mauritania would open embassies mutually within this year, adding that this would develop the relations between the two countries.

Noting that they were expecting Turkish businessmen to invest in Mauritania, Mouknass said that the two countries could cooperate in maritime, stockbreeding, energy and tourism areas.

Mouknass also thanked Turkey for its support to Palestinian issue.
