Azerbaijan launched a restoration and preservation works on 11st century-era Mohammed Mosque, an Azeri report said on Tuesday.
 
Mahammad mosques, located in the territory of historical and architectural complex Icheri Sheher, abc.az said.
 
A group of local and Austrian specialists including restorer Eric Rummer will join in restoration of the mosque, the Department of the Historical-Architectural Reserve Icheri Sheher was quoted as saying. 

Works is planned to be finished till the end of this year.

The mosque was built in 471 year according to Muslim chronology (1078-79 years of our era) by Mohammed Abubakr oglu.
