Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a state visit to Bulgaria as the guest of his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolay Mladenov.

Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Davutoglu was set to meet with Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, Parliament Speaker Tsetska Tsacheva and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov during his stay in Bulgaria.

Besides Turkey-Bulgaria bilateral relations, recent international and regional developments will be high on agenda of Davutoglu's talks with Bulgarian authorities.

Davutoglu will attend a conference at the Diplomacy Institute of Bulgarian Ministry of the Foreign Affairs and deliver a speech on Turkish-Bulgarian bilateral relations, Turkey's perspective towards the Balkans and general aspects of Turkish foreign policy.

He will proceed to the city of Plovdiv to visit the historical Cuma Mosque together with his Bulgarian counterpart Mladenov.
