Turkish State Minister and Deputy Premier Bulent Arinc visited on Saturday a Turkish military cemetery in the Salt city of Jordan.

Arinc laid a wrath at the memorial tombs of 300 Turkish soldiers who were killed in action during the First World War.

The Turkish deputy premier later attended a dinner in his honor at the Turkish Embassy in Amman.

Speaking at the dinner Arinc said Turkey's state-run television network TRT would start broadcasting in Arabic.

Arinc said TRT would also sign an agreement with Jordan's JTV for cooperation to boost cultural ties between the two countries.

Arinc held a meeting with Jordanian Prime Minister Samir Rifai in the capital city of Amman on Sunday as the two were reported to have discussed ways to further improve relations between Turkey and Jordan.
