U.S. President Barack Obama will delay his trip to Indonesia and Australia so that he can stay home in Washington to work on his push for a healthcare overhaul, a White House official said.

The official said Obama, who had been scheduled to leave on on March 18 on his first overseas travel of the year, would depart instead on March 21.
