Ethiopian parliament has declared three days of national mourning beginning Wednesday for about 30 Ethiopians massacred in cold blood by ISIL armed group in Libya.
The House of Peoples’ Representatives convened on Tuesday and decided unanimously that Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be mourning days.
During the mourning days, the national flag will be flying half-mast across the country as well as at Ethiopia’s foreign missions, embassies and consulates across the world.
Speaking to the parliament, Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom reaffirmed the readiness of his government to facilitate the return of the country’s migrants in Libya.
"The government will cover all the costs for their return," he said.
