Israel is preparing to give Jews living in the Ukrainian capital Kiev martial arts training.
According to a report in Israel's Haaretz newspaper, Israel will send specialists to teach self-defence skills to Ukrainian Jews, who the newspaper claims to be stuck in the line of fire between the Ukrainian government and Russian
The report also claims that far-right members on both sides have been increasingly targeting the Jewish community in anti-Semitic messages sprayed on to city walls.
The classes will be organized by Kiev Jewish community leader Alesander Levin and the Russian-speaking Jewish Forum, and training will be provided by former security experts.
The project has been named 'Ozma', which is Hebrew for 'strength'.
