Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Tuesday accused some "parties" of seeking to ignite strife in Sudan.

"Sudan's people are facing a malicious campaign to ignite strife and wars in Sudan with the aim of imposing an unjust blockade on the country," al-Bashir told the evening session of the 25th Arab summit in Kuwait.

He, however, declined to name their parties.

Al-Bashir said that Sudan is committed "not to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries and to fight all forms of terrorism".

Fourteen Arab heads of state are participating in this year's Arab summit, seen as the pinnacle of diplomatic, economic and social cooperation among Arab countries.
