Death toll increased to 56 in Port Said in Egypt on Tuesday.
Two people lost their lives during the clashes which broke out in front of the Port Said city prison in east of Egypt.
Director of Egypt's Ambulance services Seyyid al-Misri told AA on Tuesday that wounded people were taken to hospital however they were not saved due to severe injuries.
The clashes, which started after 21 suspects were sentenced to death in Port Said case and on the second anniversary of revolution in Egypt, continues.
During Saturday's clashes between protestors and the police, many people were wounded and on Tuesday, three of those lost their lives.
In total, death toll rose to 56 in Port Said incidents.
Furthermore, Egyptian prosecutor's office stressed that 66 people who were taken into custody regarding the Tahrir Square protests on the second anniversary of the Egyptian revolution, were arrested.
