Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn met Thursday with Sudanese Information Minister Yassir Yusouf, during which he reiterated his commitment to promoting bilateral cooperation with neighboring Sudan.
"He reassured us of Ethiopia's unwavering commitment to scaled-up cooperation between the two nations," Yusouf told The Anadolu Agency following the meeting.
"The two leaders are ever determined to consolidating cooperation in all fields: economy, regional security, cultural and people-to-people," he said.
During the meeting, Yusouf delivered a message from Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir to the Ethiopian premier.
Yusouf arrived in Ethiopia on Tuesday for a days-long visit to Ethiopia for talks with Ethiopian officials.
