Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Libya would host 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

CAF stated that the delegations would pay visits to Libya soon regarding the organization of the Cup.

Initially, Libya would host 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, however, the organization was moved to South Africa due to revolution in Libya.

CAF is the governing body of African football and was founded in 1957. The founding members are Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and South Africa. 53-member organization is based in Egypt.

Mali and Ghana will play the Third Place game on February 9 while Nigeria will face Burkina Faso in the final on February 10 in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
