A group of mourners attending Tuesday's memorial service for late South African president Nelson Mandela displayed the now-famous Rabia sign.
As keynote speakers delivered speeches in honor of South Africa's departed liberation icon, several attendees – some of them wearing bright yellow Rabia t-shirts – could be seen directly behind the stage waving a banner depicting the bright yellow Rabia sign.
The four-finger Rabia salute commemorates the hundreds of supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi killed in mid-August when Egyptian police violently dispersed two sit-ins in Cairo's Rabaa al-Adawiya Square and Giza's Nahda Square.
Event organizers could later be seen ushering those carrying the Rabaa sign out of the area.Last Mod: 10 Aralık 2013, 14:23
