Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi on Saturday convened the National Security Council in an extraordinary meeting.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Yasser Ali stated that President Mursi convened the National Security Council to discuss the incidents of violence on the second anniversary of the Egyptian revolution.
At least 10 Egyptians were killed in Friday's protests and more than 500 were injured.
The Egyptian National Security Council has a total of 17 members out of which 6 are civilians while the rest are military officials.Last Mod: 26 Ocak 2013, 14:33
