A Libyan court on Sunday adjourned until June 22 the trial of 37 officials from the regime of former leader Muammar Gaddafi, including Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam, on charges of corruption and war crimes, a defense lawyer said.
The adjournment was made upon a request by defense lawyers who wanted to review case documentations.
The prosecution, meanwhile, referred to the presence of "masses" of evidence against the 37 defendants.
Along with Saif al-Islam, several leading figures of his father's regime are standing trial, including former intelligence chief Abdullah Senussi, former premier Baghdadi Mahmudi and former foreign minister Abdul Ati al-Obeidi.
