Talks between the government and the opposition in Tunisia will begin this week, said Hussain al-Abbasi Secretary General of Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT).
The biggest partner in the coalition government, Tunisian al-Nahda Party, accepted the roadmap prepared by the union, according to a statement by the Union.
National dialog talks are reported to be made among al-Nahda Party, Tunisian General Labor Union, Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, National Union of Tunisian Lawyers and Union of Human Rights.
Adressing press after the meeting with opponent leaders held in the capital Tunis, Abbasi said the process would start this week, also requesting parties not to make any statement to press for the course of process.
