Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki will receive Ennahda Movement's leader Rached Ghannouchi on Wednesday.
President Marzouki was due to meet Ghannouchi on Wednesday to ask him to name a prime minister. Sources told AA on Tuesday that Marzouki called Ghannouchi on the phone, and invited him over Presidential Palace.
The meeting will focus on who would set up the new government instead of Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali after he announced his resignation on Tuesday following failed efforts to create a non-partisan technocratic government.
According to Tunisian provisional constitution, president assigns the political party --which has the highest number of seats at parliament-- to set up the government.Last Mod: 20 Şubat 2013, 09:45
