An angry mob has hanged two European tourists in Madagascar because they suspected them of organ trafficking.

The French interior minister has revealed that two European tourists were lynched and then hanged by an angry mob in Madagascar today after being suspected of organ trafficking. Details are still yet to be released, but it is known that one of the tourists was French.

The crowd of Madagascans chased the two Europeans after the remains of a child’s body was found in their accommodation. The child’s organs had been removed.

After being caught, the crowd lynched them and then hanged them on Nosy Be Beach. Their bodies were later burnt.

French tourists in Madagascar have been warned to remain vigilant and the French school on the island has been temporarily closed.
